I’ve spent my career working alongside nonprofits during the moments that matter most—when things feel complex, uncertain, or in transition. Over more than a decade in the sector, I’ve moved from entry-level roles into executive leadership, gaining perspective across all levels of an organization along the way.
That experience has shaped a steady, practical approach to helping nonprofits navigate complexity, strengthen governance, and move forward with clarity.
As a former Executive Director, I understand firsthand the realities of nonprofit leadership. I’ve managed complex operations, worked closely with boards, balanced financial sustainability with mission, and built systems to support long-term growth—experiences that have shown me both how much is asked of leaders and how difficult it can be to find the space and support needed to think clearly and move strategically.
My work is grounded in the belief that clarity creates momentum. Whether strengthening board alignment, refining strategy, or building more effective structures, I focus on what will actually work in practice—not just what looks good on paper.
Through Bright Ideas & Consulting, I partner with organizations to bring structure to complexity in ways that are manageable, thoughtful, and aligned with their mission. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions—every organization is different, and the work should reflect that.
At the core of my approach is a commitment to being a steady, trusted partner—someone who helps bring clarity to challenging moments and supports organizations as they move forward with confidence.
I’m based in Pittsburgh, where I stay closely connected to the nonprofit and community landscape. Outside of my work, I prioritize staying grounded—through time outdoors, reading, running throughout the city, spending time with my dogs, and community involvement—an approach that carries into how I support organizations.
I also stay actively involved in the community through board service, including my work with the Rotary Club of Pittsburgh and the Community Advisory Board for Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting. These roles continue to inform my perspective on leadership, governance, and community engagement.
